Matt works closely with his clients to help meet their capital needs for commercial and multi-housing properties. Matt has tremendous experience working with various capital sources, including Commercial Banks, Life Insurance Companies, Government Agencies, Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), Mortgage REITs/Debt Funds, Institutional Investors, and Private Investors.

Prior to joining District Capital, Matt was a member of the Crossroads Realty Advisors team in Indianapolis where he participated in the successful placement of more than $1 billion in commercial real estate financings for a myriad of national, regional, and local developers and investors. He prides himself on his ability to execute even the most complex transactions and exceeding client expectations in any economic environment. Before joining Crossroads Realty Advisors in 2015, Matt worked in property tax consulting for a large national consulting firm.

Originally from the great city of Cincinnati, Matt holds an undergraduate degree in finance from Miami University in Oxford, OH, and a Master's in Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business evening MBA program in Indianapolis. He enjoys lacrosse, ice hockey, reading about history, watching the Bengals, cooking, and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and dog Koozie.
